Canadian-born, I grew up in Montreal until my family, of French descent, move back to France.
After my studies at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, I worked in the spirit of the land-art.
I have made several actions in zoos to collect footprints of animals on canvases. I got the footprints of many animals : rhinoceros, elephant, tiger, leopard, and so on.
Later, I went to Africa to collect footprints of wild animals. I am stayed a year and a half and I have learned to track the animals to recognise the ways they attend.
I got large canvases with footprints of elephants, hippopotamus, antelopes, and so on.
I then went to Morocco to collect the prints of the ocean. My paintings have sailed several months hanging on the sides of a boat.
Parallement, I have always continued painting in studio.
In recent years, I devoted exclusively to painting.
A set of paintings explores the relationship of power between the old world and the new world. Palaces like the Louvre or Versailles versus futuristic buildings of Dubai or Shangai.
Another set of paintings explores the relationship between the human being and the social-economic world.
